Skit Guys Stuff

One man says that Christianity is a joke. The other man says "when did Christianity become a joke." First man responds "when Christ's followers stopped acting like their Messiah and started doing their own thing." Have we really starting doing this? I would like to think that we have not, but we have started acting this way. We have people that don't even take time out of their busy week to stop for a day to glory in God. Church has turned into a worship hour where it is all about our feelings. When the service is done people go back to their normal lives. This really scares me. It honestly does. This turns Christianity into a joke. If I walk down the street and can't tell the difference between a Christian and a non-Christian haven't we lost something? If Christianity is just all about morality we have sunk. You can put on your show on Sunday and act all perfect and everything, but the church is very broken. The church is not for healthy people, but sick people. I posted my talk last week. If you read through it you would have realized that I made this point. God did not choose the strong, but the weak. If we are so strong then we have no need for a Savior, we have no need for Christ. We do all fall short of the glory, but we can at least try to differentiate ourselves in this world. We can at least try to be better than that person sitting next to us. Christianity did become a joke when we started slamming each other in favor of our own denominations. Is this really what God wants? If [insert denomination here] starts saying that they are the only ones in heaven is this acting Christ-like? I don't think so. Just read 1 Corinthians 1:12-15. We better not call ourselves followers of Paul! Who is a follower of Apollos? We better all be followers of Christ! There are true churches out there, but to say that a denomination is the true ones is wrong. There are churches in every denomination that are right, and those that are wrong. That is all there is to it.
